Buccaneer Computer Awarded DISA T&E Lab Support Contract
Warrenton, VA – Effective September 1st, Buccaneer Computer Systems & Service, Inc. (BCSSI), a provider of complete Information Technology solutions, will further their support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). BCSSI, which for years has supported DISA’s Global Command and Control System (GCCS), has been awarded a $2.3 million dollar contract that calls for BCSSI to perform extensive support of DISA’s Test and Evaluation (TE) computer laboratory. The new task will place BCSSI in charge of the management and technical support of hundreds of Department of Defense (DoD) systems that are critical to the national defense.
“This is clearly an important win for us. We have been at DISA for some time and this is a reflection of the customer’s confidence in us to deliver top-notch services. It’s a big vote of confidence,” commented BCSSI President Heather Newell.
“The bottom line is that DISA is confident we can do an excellent job. That’s based on the other work we already do for the agency. We’re thrilled to be performing additional critical work for such an important customer,” remarked Weldon Regan, Vice President and Director of BCSSI’s Systems Engineering and Integration business unit.
