Warrenton, VA – Buccaneer Computer Systems & Services, Inc. (BCSSI), a provider of complete Information Technology solutions, has been selected to expand their support of the by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This $1.2 million competitive win tasks BCSSI with the administration and technical support and engineering of all CMS video teleconferencing (VTC) across the United States. BCSSI will provide expertise in the daily administration as well as network engineering capabilities in support of system enhancements.
"Although this isn’t our biggest contract, this was an important win for us. We were in competition with companies large and small and came out on top. It’s very satisfying that we were not only the low financial bid but were also viewed by the government as the best of the competitors technically. We were up against other firms our size as well as a multi-billion dollar technology giant. That’s tough competition. The bottom line is that CMS was confident we could do an excellent job. That’s probably based on the other work we do for the agency. We’re very pleased they have such confidence in us." remarked Heather Newell, Buccaneer’s President.
