WARRENTON, VA -- Buccaneer Computer Systems & Services, Inc. (BCSSI) has been awarded a follow-on contract in support of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In exercising this contract option, CMS continues Buccaneer’s support of one of the largest government nationwide networks, QualityNet (QNet). QNet supports the mission of the Medicare and Medicaid Quality Improvement Program – to provide continuous improvement in the services provided to Medicare and Medicaid recipients. In recognition of Buccaneer’s superior performance during the base year of the contract, CMS has requested additional services be performed by Buccaneer. In accordance with the request for additional services, CMS has increased Buccaneer’s funding over 40% in the new award.
