QSource Awarded Arkansas Medicaid Contract
MEMPHIS, TN - QSource has been awarded a $1.7 million contract with the State of Arkansas to perform the state’s Medicaid Therapy Utilization Review and Personal Care prior authorization program for the next year starting July 1st.
QSource will assume the responsibility of retrospectively reviewing individual plans of care and conducting prior authorization for personal care services for Medicaid eligible beneficiaries under 21 years of age. The purpose of prior authorizations and retrospective reviews is the promotion of effective, efficient and economical delivery of healthcare services.
The healthcare consulting firm has more than three decades of experience in the healthcare industry with federal, state and local contracts serving both the Medicare and Medicaid populations. QSource is headquartered in Memphis with offices in Nashville and Little Rock. This is the company’s first contract in Arkansas and will operate the contract under an affiliate company, QSource of Arkansas.
