WARRENTON, VA, March 26, 2009 – Buccaneer Computer Systems & Service, Inc. (Buccaneer) held a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the second expansion of the Warrenton data center.  While Buccaneer completed the first data center expansion only 15 months ago, the continued demand for additional data center capacity necessitated the expansion.  Buccaneer executed the expansion project on time and with no impact to current customers and systems.

 

The data center expansion provides Buccaneer an additional 1100 square feet of state-of-the-art data center floor space, enough to house approximately 60 server racks.  The data center space is supported by multiple redundant HVAC units, redundant fire suppression systems, and multiple UPS and generator power systems.  The data center features federally compliant two-zone security and 18 inch raised flooring.
