Buccaneer Computer Systems & Service, Inc. has had its Product Quality Assurance Group (Buccaneer) appraised at Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Level 3 by T.R. Miller Associates, LLC, a Software Engineering Institute-licensed partner.  This designation marks the culmination of an intensive 24-month company effort.

CMMI methodology is focused on ensuring that repeatable quality processes are fully integrated within a technology organization. To be appraised at level 3, 17 process areas (PAs) were formally assessed. Buccaneer was rated as fully complaint in all 17 PAs. The coveted CMMI Level 3 appraisal is a testament to Buccaneer’s quality focus.
